A clever creative from an early age, Desiree has always been inspired by design. Her design perspective expertly combines function with beauty for everyday life. The studio’s unique approach to the design process lends itself to a fulfilling and collaborative experience.

Drawing inspiration from the quiet beauty of the natural world, Desiree weaves together materials, textures, patterns, and finishes to create spaces that feel grounded, effortless, and alive. Rooted in nature, her work embraces the art of imperfection - finding character in the unexpected and soul in the subtle. To her, a home is more than a place - it’s a personal sanctuary that evolves with the people who live there, telling their story over time.

The outcome is a design ethos that feels intentional but effortless, formed yet whimsical, balanced yet playfully unexpected - echoing the quiet harmony found in nature.

Interior Designer

Hi! My name is Nicole! South American born with East Coast roots, my presence is full of life. I wanted to share with you a little about myself and how I became a part of Desiree Burns Interiors. 

I feel most at home when I am near the Ocean. My supper power is to make others feel good! It can be as simple as giving someone a compliment or a smile to a passing stranger. Pay it forward whenever you can. It always comes back to you when you need it the most. 

In 2017 I took a leap of faith and left my corporate job to turn my passion for interiors into a career. As a mother, I juggle family, work, and the chaos that comes with it. As a designer, I relish in all things beautiful. I love creating environments that are both alluring and purposeful.
