5 tips from our design team to refresh your interiors

  1. Paint or add wallpaper: A great way to give your space a refresh is with a new coat of paint. Want to make a bigger statement? Adding wallpaper to your walls will give it a polished, fresh feel.

  2. Add Storage: Storage is an easy way to help your space feel more put together. Putting loose items away helps leave a space feeling calm and tidy! Some of our favorite pieces to use are armoires, bookshelves, and bins or baskets.

  3. Lighting: Lighting can help improve the ambiance and feel of your space. Reevaluate the fixtures in your home and swap out anything that looks or feels dated. Keep the fixtures in their existing locations to alleviate electrical costs. If you have a little more room in your budget, adding chandeliers as a wow factor in your dining room or living room can really help to elevate the space.

  4. Change your art: This could mean purchasing new art pieces to give your space a new look, or simply moving things around from room to room. Art is also a great way to add pops of color to a neutral space.

  5. Rethink your layout: A new look doesn’t always mean new furniture. Sometimes, all you need is to move a few things around. We prefer to style furniture away from walls for a more refined look. Select a focal point in the room, that is your starting point. Work all the other pieces around that.
