10 Dec My Thoughts on the Pantone Color of the Year
Welcome to interior designer heaven! We are into December, which means all the best-known design companies release their picks for color of the year. The most distinguished recognition definitely comes from Pantone, creator of the Pantone Color Matching System. And I am LOVING 2020’s color: Classic Blue!
It’s no secret that I love using blue whenever I can in my projects, but check out some other ways to incorporate the shade into your next project!
Classic Blue is an obvious paint choice for a calm, serene space. It can truly be used in any room in your home, but I love it best for a bedroom or living room.
Even though the name of this color is Classic Blue, I think it’s great for giving a modern feel to your furniture! What do you think of these pieces? I’m loving the velvet sofa.
If Classic Blue is a little too bold for you to use as a paint color, I suggest using it as an accent touch or for your fixtures. This blue fireplace blends in really well in the below transitional space, and you already know how much I loved my client’s navy blue island from my Milton project.
What do you think of Classic Blue? Do you like it, or do you think another tone should be Color of the Year? Let me know!
